Bathroom table with jewelry drawer box

Table made from cherry (legs, drawer sides and drawer box), padouk (table top) and olivewood (drawer fronts).  The olivewood was from a small trunk found during a holiday in Italy.  The legs are attached to the frame using through-tenons with wengé wedges.  The drawer box and table top are not attached directly to the legs but appear to be "floating" above the frame. The drawer box and drawer sides are assembled using hand-sawn dovetails.  Each of the four drawers has a differently shaped drawer pull from wengé, to provide a more playful appearance. Two of the drawers have been subdivided in 9 compartments for smaller jewelry items.
